Dear Magic Valley Business,
In an effort to offer appreciation and some much needed financial support for some local heroes, we are holding the 6th Annual Quick Response Unit Fundraiser! These heroic volunteers are first responders to emergencies and operate off funds raised throughout the year. These men and women are always ready to drop their daily activities to respond to an emergency call for help in our local rural areas that so many of us enjoy riding and playing in.
100% of all proceeds raised at the event will be divided equally among 8 local Magic Valley QRU’s; West End (Paul), Filer, Buhl, Hagerman, Salmon Tract (Hollister), Rupert, RockCreek (Kimberly) and Castleford. As the event grows in the coming years and participation mounts we would like to take this annual event to include more QRU’s. We would like to set aside a day of acknowledgement for their efforts and sacrifices and say “Thank you”.
Sunday June 2nd, 2013 has been the day dedicated to the 6th annual event and all riding groups and outdoor enthusiasts alike are invited to participate. We currently have over 10 local motorcycle associations, ATV Riders Association and local businesses such as Adventure Motor Sports, Snake Harley-Davidson, Twin Falls Veterinary Clinic & Hospital, Dr. M. Cole Johnson, Neuhoff Communications, Commercial Tire, & Lets Ride offering their support. The days events will include such activities as a registration pancake breakfast, a motorcycle challenge run that included over 200 riders last year with stops at each of the QRU locations, Classic Car show, live entertainment by local band Medicine Men, raffle, evening BBQ, and much more!!
We will utilize the many advertising medias available in our great valley to promote this event and also have many sponsorship levels available for businesses and individuals alike. The Annual QRU Fundraiser is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law with receipts available.
